Nitrification SBR Leachate Treatment Plant

Operational: Autumn 1999 to date.

The plant shown was constructed under a modified ICE 6th Edition Contract, and has been working very successfully, as intended, ever since commissioning.

The design flow is 120 cubic metres per day, and the effluent is discharged to watercourse after tertiary treatment in a reed bed.

The project was constructed by local Contractors. Enviros provided process design, contract supervision, training and commissioning. The Council undertook DoE (regulator) consultation, and liaison with third parties (eg Planning Authority).
