Client: Hytech Water for Viridor Waste Management Commissioned: February 2003 Oxfordshire, England.
This 150 m³ /day "Design & Build" plant was built to a process design provided by Enviros.
The site from the first day of treatment has been successfully treating a leachate substantially stronger than specified. Enviros applied experience gained from 50 previous similar projects to ensure that the plant would treat leachate strengths across the range of those potentially generated by newly filled, and older cells.

The plant, which discharges to a public sewer, was process commissioned by Enviros and the plant will be operated by the original site staff who have now been trained in process operation.
Detailed design was carried out by the Design & Build Contractor, who will maintain the plant for the first 12 months.
This was our second commission in this role, repeating the successful Design & Build formula for Viridor Waste Management, under which we were originally engaged in 2000 for the Whitehead Landfill leachate treatment plant.
