WHITEHEAD LEACHATE TREATMENT WORKS

This 150 m³ /day "Design & Build" contract plant was designed and constructed to a very tight programme. Enviros provided the process design based upon treatability trials carried out in the Enviros laboratory.

The plant which discharges to a public sewer, was process commissioned by Enviros, and the site staff were also trained by Enviros. The plant has been operated by the site operational staff, assisted by the site chemist, ever since.

This successful project led to a "repeat order" being given to the Enviros/Hytech Water team, when we were engaged to carry out the same role for the Ardley leachate treatment plant, which was process commissioned during winter 2003.
